Who we are
aegntic.ai is the personal portfolio and contact site of Mattae Cooper, an independent software engineer. Mattae Cooper is the data controller responsible for this site. This policy applies only to aegntic.ai — not to any third-party sites it links to (such as GitHub, cldcde.cc, logue.pro, clawreform.com, or X/Twitter).
What data we collect
We only collect data you choose to give us, through one of two forms:
- Contact form — if you send a message, we receive the name, email, subject, and message you enter.
- Newsletter — if you subscribe, we receive your email address.
We do not collect: browsing history, location, device fingerprints, advertising identifiers, or any data from people who only browse the site without submitting a form.
Why we collect it & legal basis
- To respond to your enquiry (contact form) — based on your consent and our legitimate interest in replying.
- To send occasional project updates (newsletter) — based on your consent. You can withdraw it at any time.
Where it is stored
Form submissions are stored in Cloudflare D1, the database service of our hosting provider Cloudflare. Because Cloudflare operates global infrastructure, your data may be processed in a country other than your own, subject to Cloudflare's own safeguards.
Cookies & local storage
aegntic.ai does not use cookies and does not run analytics or advertising trackers. The only client-side storage is a single flag in your browser's localStorage that remembers you dismissed or completed the newsletter prompt — it stays on your device and is never sent to us.
Third parties
- Cloudflare — hosts the site and stores form data (D1).
- Google Fonts — the typefaces are served from
fonts.gstatic.com; your browser may send your IP address to Google to fetch them. No Google analytics are loaded.
We never sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone except as required to operate the site, or where required by law.
How long we keep it
Only as long as needed: contact messages until your enquiry is resolved (and any resulting work completed), newsletter entries until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. You can request deletion at any time.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (e.g. under GDPR, CCPA, or Australian Privacy Principles), you may have the right to:
- Access the data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Withdraw consent (e.g. unsubscribe) at any time
- Lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority

Children
aegntic.ai is not directed at anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a minor has submitted data, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS and data is held in Cloudflare D1. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, but we take reasonable measures appropriate to the (minimal) data we hold.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site evolves. The "Effective" date above always reflects the current version.
